What is the n term of the sequence:-4,-2,0,4....?

If that final value of 4 is supposed to be 2, then
a_n = -4+2(n-1) = -6+2n
If not, then the sequence is not just an AP, but a cubic function
a_n = 1/3 (x^3 - 6x^2 + 17x - 8)
