I don't understand what this question ask for. I think it want me to take 7.2*10^-3 and rewrite it as 0.00072. Am i right?

The momentum of an object is determined to be 7.2×10-3 kg⋅m/s. Express this quantity as provided or use any equivalent unit. (Note: 1 kg = 1000 g).

Wrong on two counts.
One would move the decimal point three places, not four.
BUT you should have MORE grams than kilograms.
7.2×10-3 kg⋅m/s * 1000 grams/kilogram = 7.2 g m / s
