Unless the rules have changed, Follow the Leader has few verbal clues or exercises, nor does checkers.
I have watched girls jump rope, they seem to have a lot of verbal chants: I remember one my oldest daughter chanted: Sitting on the fence, waiting to be kissed, then came a guy, who started to kiss: One, two, three, ...
Old maid is a sexist game, out of favor with the old maid liberators. But card games (Fish, etc) offer verbal interaction which is backed up with pictures.
I would favor card games first, but Jump Roping is a very verbal game (for girls, I am sexist).
