A block is enclosed by two parallel streets 14 meters apart and are crossed by two other streets not parallel. If the block enclosed is 15 meters on one side and 10 meters on the other, what is the area of the block?

the height of the trapezoid is 14 m

the two bases are 10 m and 15 m

area = height * average of the bases
