Write the number in scientific notation. -- .00029 * (not sure, please help!)

A- 29 x 10^6
B- 2.9 x 10^4
C- 2.9 x 10^-4
D- 29 x 10^-6

It should be C. -2.9 × 10^-4. (All you had to do was move the first real number until it is in a positive position, so hence C is the right choice)
