I have already sent the solution to your previous post, and if you haven't read it here it is again.
4 2/5 = 4 + 2 ∙ 2 / 2 ∙ 5 = 4 + 4 / 10 = 4 4/10 = 3 + 1 + 4/10 =
3 + 10 / 10 + 4 /10 = 3 + 14 / 10 = 3 14/10
4 2/5 - 1 7/10 = 3 14/10 - 1 7/10 = 3 - 1 + 14/10 - 7 /10 = 2 7/10
4 2/5 = 4 + 2 ∙ 2 / 2 ∙ 5 = 4 + 4 / 10 = 4 4/10 = 3 + 1 + 4/10 =
3 + 10 / 10 + 4 /10 = 3 + 14 / 10 = 3 14/10
4 2/5 - 1 7/10 = 3 14/10 - 1 7/10 = 3 - 1 + 14/10 - 7 /10 = 2 7/10

henry2,
4 2/5-1 7/10 = 22/5-17/10 = 132/30-51/30 = 81/30 = 27/10 = 2 7/10.
