For chemistry I am supposed to convert 0.001 348 grams to milligrams. I know how to convert grams to milligrams, but I don't get what's with the 0.001. Does this mean it should be .348 grams to milligrams (multiplying by .001??)
Thanks

No, I think the space is used to separate the digits into groups of three; e.g., if the number was 1,348 we would write 1 348 so the number 0.001 348 means 1,348/1,000,000. In your case, just think of it as 0.001348 and convert to mg.
