    (-4 + n) / (7 + n) = -9 / 2
"cross" multiplying ... 2 (-4 + n) = -9 (7 + n) ... 2 n - 8 = - 9 n - 63 ... 11 n = - 55
w * (w + 36) = 5152 ... w^2 + 36 w - 5152 = 0
... use the quadratic formula to find w
