whats the chemical formula for potassium hydroxide dissolved in water?

Solid potassium hydroxide is KOH. When placed in water solution it dissociates into K^+ and OH^- and those become hydrated as K^+(H2O) and OH^-(H2O) . The number of water molecules associated with ions varies.
