This is calculus. You sure it doesn't say find y' ?
If it does, then you have
3 and -2 for the answers.
If it does, then you have

Yes! It does say Find y'... what does the symbol above y mean lol. Also how did you get 3 and -2.

y'(x) = dy/dx
Now read the power rule.
If y = x^n then
y' = n x^(n-1)
since 2x = 2*x^1, y' = 2*(1*x^0) = 2(1) = 2
and if y(x) is a constant, say, 3 = 3x^0, then y'=0
Now read the power rule.

y' = n x^(n-1)
