according to your image, you have a 10by10 square and a 10by14 rectangle
total area = 10*10 + 10*14 = 240
total cost = 240(1.29) = 309.60

= (1/2)(base)(height) + 8*5
= (1/2)(8)(3) + 40
= 12+40
= 52
