3. 4/7x=-20
4. 3/4x+11=23
5. 4/5x+7/3=14/
6. -(10-x)=(x+4)
ive always been bad at these kinds of problems w/ the fractions, any help would be appreciated!!! :o)

If you know how to find the lowest common denominator for fractions,
then you know how to do these questions.
Look at #5
4/5x+7/3=14/5
the denominators are 5 and 3, so the LCD is 15
now simply multiply each term by 15
15(4/5)x + 15(7/3) = 15(14/5)
12x + 35 = 42
See how easy it becomes now?
I don't know why you included #6 -(10-x)=(x+4) ?
-10 + x = x + 4
ahh, I see why, the x drops out, so you get
-10 = 4 which of course is nonsense.
if you get "nonsense" as a result after the variable drops out,
there is no solution to your equation.
if you get a true statement as a result after the variable drops out,
there will be an infinite number of solutions.
