An airplane has a mass of 2.56x10^4 kg and takes off under the influence of a constant net force of 1.90x10^4 N. What is the net force that acts on the planes 84.5-kg pilot?

F=ma, so the plane's acceleration is
1.90/2.56 = 0.74 m/s^2
add to that the acceleration due to gravity
then multiply by the pilot's mass, since F = ma
