Thirteen staff of the school went to represent the school at a meeting. 8 of the staff has MA degree and 5 have Bsc. 7 MA and 3 BSc are males. If a staff is selected at random to head the delegation, what is the probability that: (a) the staff has a master or is a male? (b) the staff has a BSc and is a female?

    make a 2x2 table, with
male/female in the columns,
MA, BSc in the rows.
Be sure to note the totals for both rows and columns.
