the larger will be (2)(1/3)(4) = 8/3 as big as the smaller

V1 = L/3*4W*2h.
V2 = L*W*h.

V1/V2 = L/3*4W*2h/L*W*h = 8*L/3*W*h/L*W*h = 8L/3L = 8/3 = 8:3.
