tangent55= 50cm/ distance
solve for distance.
Now really, a building that is 50 cm high. Is the building for cats?
solve for distance.

height of building = per = 50 cm
angle of depression = angle = 55o
distance of the car from the foot of the building = base = ?
solution :
by applying trigonometric identities,
tanα = per/base
tan55 = 50/distance
distance = 50/tan55
distance = 35.211
angle of depression = angle = 55o
