how do the Carskills differ from the Adirondaks?

1 the adirondacks have milder winters.
2 the adirondacks are composed mostly of metamorphic bedrock.
3 the catskills do not have any vegetation.
4 the highest mountains of the catskills are higher above sea level.

plz help i guess to be 3 but i m sure its not right...

I do not know much about New York, but suspect that the Catskills have trees and shrubs because people go there for vacation.
