A wave with a wavelength of 2 meters travels at 6 hz. What is its velocity?
3 m/s
4 m/s
8 m/s
12 m/s
And:
One-hundred (100) wavelengths pass every 5 seconds. What is the frequency of the wave?
1 Hz
20 Hz
500 Hz
It cannot be determined.

    1. I assume when you say "travels at 5 Hz you mean the frequency is 6 Hz.
v= freq x wavelength. Substitute and solve for v.

    2. Frequency is the number of wavelengths that pass a point in 1 sec. So you have 100 passing in 5 seconds. How many will pass in 1 sec?
