I have to answer this question: "Kevin had 2 sixths if James gave him 5 tenths how much would Kevin have?" I think it would be 7/2 because you have to find a likely number that would go into 10 and 2 would go into both 6 and 10

I think you missed a step because your suppose to simplify since your numerator is seven and your denominator is 2 it's an improper fraction so you would need a whole number. At least i believe so i could be wrong tho.

2/6 + 5/10 = 1/3 + 5/10
Now find the common denominator, and you have
10/30 + 15/30 = 25/30 = 5/6
Now find the common denominator, and you have

Oh! i understand now, and Kylie if i had to simplify it would have to be a big number not 7/2 even tho i said 7/2.
