Two kids sit on a seesaw of length 4.2m, balanced at its center. Sarah sits at the for end and has a mass of 50.kg. The Anna is 75kg. They seesaw for a while (having a grand time) then decide to balance themselves. Then Sarah is given a bag of oranges weighing 3.0kg. and the seesaw rotates out of balance, When the Anna is given a bag of apples, balance is still not restored. She has to place the apples 0.33m behind her for them to be balanced again. What is the weight of the bog of apples?

well, first find where Anna was.
50*2.1=75x so x= anna position frm center, x=2/3 * 2.1=4.2/2=1.4m frm center
next:
(50+3)*2.1=75*1.4 + M(1.4+.330
solve for mass of apples M.
