there are lots of online graphing sites. However, this could help.
sinx - cosx
= √2 (sinx * 1/√2 - cosx * 1/√2)
= √2 sin(x - π/4)
sinx - cosx
= √2 (sinx * 1/√2 - cosx * 1/√2)
= √2 sin(x - π/4)
