Which number in fractions should be subtracted from 36/22 in order for the difference to be 3/3?

I don't really understand this. I obviously can simply it but I don't fully know what it means for the difference to be 3/3

Interesting... 3/3 is the same as 1.
But maybe they want it reduced down in some way...
36/22 reduces right away to 18/11
so if you subtract...
36/22 - x = 3/3
re-arrange
36/22 - 3/3 = x
get a common denominator : )
x = reduced down to 7/11
