What are the most populous and least populous areas of Russia? And why are some areas more heavily populated than others?
What exactly do they mean by this, do they mean city's, regions or what?
once i know which they mean i THINK i got the rest, but any extra hep would be greatly appreciated.

They probably mean the number of people who live with each square mile (or whatever measurement they use).
