Dakota bought new drinking glasses for her kitchen. There are 3 sizes of glasses -4 inches tall, 6 inches tall, and 8 inches tall. Each glass is designed to stack with others of the same height as shown. For all 3 sizes, 2 inches of glass remain above the glass it is stacked in.

well, for each size, the stack is that size plus 2" for each additional glass after the first. So, for n glasses of height h, that would be
h+2(n-1)
h+2(n-1)
