My answer:
I Think as long as you stay safe while talking to them. Make sure if you are talking on a social media app that it really is them and not a creepy person. As long as your parents are okay with it as well.

You should say no, because if they don't let you know of their identity, it could be dangerous as they could possibly be trying to catfish you. Catfishing is when someone doesn't reveal their identity (or uses a fake identity) to aim at someone for abuse, fraud, and deceiving.

I think it's okay if they have proof for who they are, like if they have a tiktok and post their face for that you can hear thier voices , friends online can be helpful but also dangerous depending on where you meet them
