    You need to learn how to use parentheses. I assume you mean
1/(w^2+3w) - 2/(w^2-9)
= 1/(w(w+3)) - 2/((w-3)(w+3))
The LCD is w(w-3)(w+3)
Use it to add the fractions.
    
1/(w^2+3w) - 2/(w^2-9)
= 1/(w(w+3)) - 2/((w-3)(w+3))
