Why <b>are</b> fractions so hard?

They are not, all you really have to be able to do
is finding equivalent fractions that have the same denominator for addition and subtraction.
That is, you have to know how to find a common denominator.

Multiplication and Division of fractions are actually easier than addition and subtraction
