adding and subtracting rational expressions:
(5v^(3)-10v^(2)/(5v^(2) * (v-7)/(v-2)
(5v^(3)-10v^(2)/(5v^(2) * (v-7)/(v-2)

balancing your parentheses, I get
(5v^(3)-10v^(2)/(5v^(2) * (v-7)/(v-2)) = (5v^4-35v^3-2v+4)/(v-7)
(5v^(3)-10v^(2)/(5v^(2)) * (v-7)/(v-2) = (5v^4-10v^3-2v+14)/(v-2)
All those extra parens you use do make it hard to read. Maybe both of my interpretations are not what you had in mind.
