You need to pay attention to your text. The causes were many....court decisions, fragmentation of the movement, and long held views of the role of women...but I think A is the best answer. Check your text for their view.

there is nothing in the readings I looked + reread an embarrassing amount of times and looked even used the search. A is correct for anyone wondering though. The curriculum sucks but that's not the people on this site's fault.
