if the speed of light is 3 times 10 to the 8 power meters/seconds, how many seconds does it take light to reach the earth, if the sun is 1.5 times 10 to the 11 power meters from the earth

time = 1.5 x 10^11 ÷ (3.0 x 10^8)
= 0.5 x 10^3
= 5 .0 x 10^2 seconds
= 0.5 x 10^3
= 5 .0 x 10^2 seconds
