    37% girls means 63% boys. So,
g/b = g/20 = 37/63
g = 11.7
So, I suspect that there are 12 girls, making 62.5% of the class, not 63%
The problem would have been better stated if it had said 3/8 (37.5%) of the class were girls.

20 + 0.37x = x.
0.63x = 20,
X = 31.75.
Girls = 0.37 * 31.75 = 11.75.
The 0.75 is a SMALL girl. LOL.
