1. Harry titrates vinegar with 0.952 M NaOH. The sample was 25.75 mL of vinegar, and it took 19.85 ml of 0.952 M NaOH to reach endpoint. What are the grams of acetic acid/100 mL of vinegar? Is this vinegar?

millimoles NaOH = mL x M = 19.85 x 0.952 = ? = estimated 19; therefore, estimated 19 millimols acetic acid. How many grams is this? That's grams = mols x molar mass = estd 0.019 x 60 = about 1.1 grams and that is in 25.75 mL. How many grams in a 100 is
about 1.1 x 100/25.75 = about 4.5 g/100 mL but that's an estimate.
You can look on the web and find that vinegar sold at the store is somewhere between 4% and 5%(by weight and not by volume) so I would think the sample was vinegar. You should go through and calculate accurately instead of going with my estimates.
