Hello! For my Algebra Class, I need to predict the price of an item in one decade. I already have a percent I want to increase the number by, however, I'm sorta confused as to how to increase the number by the percent. The lesson was sort of confusing, so help will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

If you want to increase something by 18% , multiply it by 1.18
If you want to increase something by 7% , multiply it by 1.07
If you want to increase something by 12.5% , multiply it by 1.125
do you get the idea?
