What is the anzac legend? I spend 3 hours trying to understand but I still don't get it. I am so dumb. Can someone help me asap?

I read so many of them but the definitions aren't easy to understand. They are difficult for me because I came from Iraq this year.

The basic idea is that the legend states that the soldiers of New Zealand and Australia had all of these traits -- endurance, courage, ingenuity, good humor, etc.
