since the ratio of corn/area is constant, you want x such that
x/14 = 750/10

What is rate is the question you need to know right? If yo uhave 10 acres that make 750 bushels of corn, how many bushels can you make with just 1 acre? Then times it by 14 to find x.

Answer: 14-acre field* (750 bushels/ 10-acre field)= 1,050 bushels. So the answer is that you can produce 1,050 bushels of corn from a 14 acre field.
