30 + 15 + 7 1/2 + 3 3/4 + ....
so a = 30, r = 1/2
sum(8) = 30(1 - (1/2)^8)/(1 - 1/2)
= 30( 1 - 1/256)/(1/2)
= 60(255/256) = 3825/64
