substituting the values for the letters, you have
4(3) + 6 (5 - 2)
= 12 + 6(3)
= 12 + 18
= 30
How ever did you get 61?
4(3) + 6 (5 - 2)
= 12 + 6(3)
= 12 + 18
= 30
How ever did you get 61?

you have to put the 3 by the 4 and put the 5 by the 6
4k + 6(j - 2 ) = 40
4k + 6(j - 2 ) = 40
