Remember that to ascend means to increase. So you have to sort the numbers from lowest to greatest. The value of 1/7 is 0.142857 repeating, so that would go first. The value of 2/5 is 0.4 so that would go second. And 5/9 is 0.5 repeating so that would go third. So the correct order would be 1/7, 2/5, 5/9. Hope that makes sense.
