A water treatment plan is built with three cylindrical tanks to contain the water for a town. Each tank has a radius of 15 feet and a depth of 25 fee.
If there are about 7.5 gallons in a cubic foot of water, approximately how many gallons of water can be treated at the plant at any one time?
A. 7.1 * 10^3
B. 1.3 * 10^5
C. 4.1 * 10^5
D. 4.1 * 10^6
I did: pi * 15^2 * 25 * 3 * 7.5 = 397607.82
(area * height * num tanks * gallons/volume)
This doesn't match any of the options given. What could be wrong?
