Mrs Writeacher,I read part of the Wikipedia and I noticed that they spread their alphabet throughout North Africa, Europe and other continent, so the correct answer is D.

Yes, and because their alphabet influenced the Greeks and eventually the Romans, their influence survives today in our own alphabet.
