The sides of a square are increased by a scale factor of 7. The perimeter of the smaller square is 16 ft. What is the perimeter of the larger square?

The perimeter of the original square is 16 ft
so each side is 4 ft
How did I get 4 ft as the length of a side ??

now the new square will be 28 ft on each side, so .....
