avg speed is total distance divided by total time. So, expressing all distances in km, and all times in hours, and recalling that
time = distance/speed
(0.750 + (40 * 1/2) + 5)km/(0.25 + 0.5 + 5000/3 * 1/3600)hr
= 21.229 km/hr
time = distance/speed
(0.750 + (40 * 1/2) + 5)km/(0.25 + 0.5 + 5000/3 * 1/3600)hr
= 21.229 km/hr
