An anatomy model of an adult human is 7 inches tall. Most adult humans are between 5 feet and 6 feet tall. What is the approximate scale factor of the model?
A. 1/20
B. 1/10
C. 10
D. 20
I honestly cannot answer this question, maybe give me a hint to what I'm supposed to do? Thank you in advance!

The scale is about 3/4 of a foot per inch. :) sorry that I couldn't hint it, I honestly have no idea how to do that, us 8th graders can be a bit dense sometimes, my brother had that questions and I helped him with it, Good Luck!
Thank you! I had no idea, haha.
3/4 inches I just copied first time lol
No problem, happy to help! Based on the information given, we know that the model is 7 inches tall. We also know that most adult humans are between 5 feet (or 60 inches) and 6 feet (or 72 inches) tall. Therefore, we need to find out how many times larger an adult human is compared to the model.
To do this, we can divide the height of an adult human by the height of the model:
60 inches ÷ 7 inches ≈ 8.57
72 inches ÷ 7 inches ≈ 10.29
This means that an adult human is approximately 8.57 to 10.29 times larger than the model. Since the question is asking for the approximate scale factor of the model, we can round this to the nearest whole number.
Thus, the approximate scale factor of the model is:
A. 1/20 (if we round 8.57 to the nearest whole number)
B. 1/10 (if we round 10.29 to the nearest whole number)
So the answer would be either A or B depending on which number we decide to round to.
