what is the formula to calculate two cylinders, one of them inside the big cylinder?

I will assume you want the difference of the two volumes.

find the volume of the bigger cylinder.
find the volume of the inner cylinder.
Take their difference.

volume of cylinder = π r^2 h, where r is the radius and h is the height
