What is another equivalent way of writing 5(x-2)? i know that it is Associative Property of Multiplication but i don't understand how to write it out as an equation. Can you please help me?

huh. If you know the property, then just use it!
5(x-2) = 5x - 5*2

my answer is (5+x) + (5-2) is that right?
