A drone travels 17.0 km north, then 20.0 km west, then 21.0 km south, and finally 14.0 km east. The time for the entire trip is 1.50 h.
(a) Determine the drone's total distance travelled.
(b) Determine the drone's resultant displacement.
magnitude_______km
direction ____° south of west
(c) Determine the drone's average speed in kilometres per hour for the entire trip. ____km/h?
(d) Determine the drone's average velocity for the entire trip.

a. add the four distances (17,20,21,14)
b. N: 17-21, so 4 S
E: 14-20= 6 W
magnitude=sqrt(4^2+6^2)=7.21 check that
direction: arctan(4/6)
avg speed: distance in a) divided by 1.50hr
avg velocity" 7.21/1.50
