4 3/4= 4 6/8

Your work makes no sense to me, all I see is a bunch of numbers
I know what you are trying to say, but Math is a precise language and must be used as such. You have:
4 3/4= 4 6/8
-1 5/8
3 1/8

Should look like:
4 3/4 - 1 5/8
= 19/4 - 13/8 , getting rid of those useless mixed numbers
= 38/8 - 13/8 , common denominator
= 25/8
