    but if that was the equation you were given first then youre wrong if you're solving for A. It would be:
8a−10 11d-6
+10 = 11d−6+10
8a=11d+4
Then divide both sides by 8 and you have
a= 11/8d + 1/2

a= 11/8d + 1/2
