A student circle for x hour at 12km per hour and y hours at 16km per hour all together the student circles 66km in 5 hours.find x nd y

since distance = speed * time,
12x + 16y = 66
x + y = 5

Now just crank it out.

PS - I think you meant "cycles" ... though it works either way.
