thank you writeacher for letting me know i was correct on question 1. now for question 2 in my textbook it states they many unique contributions especially in religious arts and architecture.and for preserving and spreading knowledge.as it states in the textbook byzantine scholars preserved the classic works of ancient greece and rome. in addition they produced their own great books especially in the field of history that pretty much sums up everything it states about the byzantine empire in my textbook. which i why i thought it was c artistic strength but if its not that it must be d religious strength because it does state in the textbook that the byzantine cilvilization rose out of many traditions blending christian with greek philosophy science and arts would d then be correct?
now for question 3 if its not c then it must be d nomad would that be correct?
